Shipping policy

SHIPPING WITHIN SOUTH AFRICA

Duration for shipping would 4-7 WORKING days when shipping to provinces in South Africa.

The partners we use are either:
- The Courier Guy
- Dawn Wing
- Courier IT

On most orders they are fulfilled through The Courier Guy, but in instances that they aren't available we offer the other two or if we are in your area one of our staff members would personally do the delivery as well.

  • A price will be quoted at check out which applies to most orders (exceptions listed below)
  • International shipping is done through DHL and calculated on checkout- for further info please email contact@afrikajoe.com
  • We try to ship orders within one business day of receipt.
  • Shipping is done Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.
  • Once the order is placed you will receive an email notification and will be able to track your order online. 
  • Orders usually take 2 to 7 working days to arrive once shipped local and international.
  • Orders are not delivered on weekends or public holidays.
  • For exchanges and returns we will charge for the shipping return to Afrika Joe, but will not charge for the shipping back to you.
  • Please note orders can take longer in outlying areas
  • Some areas may be problematic and costly to ship to. Our system is unable to pick up the exact cost until actual waybills are made. In these instances we will contact you to ship to a Postnet or nearest Pep store. If this is not an option we reserve the right to cancel the order and refund you the money. Potential prohibitively high cost shipping areas may be:
  • Some flagged townships
  • Army Base
  • Farms
  • Holiday Resort
  • Industrial Plants
  • Mines
  • Plot
  • Power Stations 
  • Remote Areas
  • Township
  • Game reserves
  • Refinery
  • High risk areas
  • Shopping centres

 

SHIPPING INTERNATIONALLY 

  • Shipping internationally is done via the DHL and takes 3-7 working days. 
  • Customer is liable for import duties. Please check this before purchasing.

Customs and duty charges are born on you as a the buyer, as we unfortunately don't have control as to the various customs and duty procedures in various countries.
