"Cape of Good Hope"
The Cape of Good Hope is an iconic landmark in the international sailing community. In 1968 Bruce Dalling single-handedly sailed the yacht Voortrekker (pictured) to first place in the Observer Transatlantic Race. In 1982 Bertie "Biltong" Reed sailed her to 2nd place in the BOC race and described her as the "fastest, most uncomfortable, prettiest 50-footer around",
